Opening of the DEUTSCHE EDELSTAHLWERKE (DEW) heat treatment shop for tools in Nuremberg

1972

Opening of the EDELSTAHLWERKE WITTEN AG (ESW) heat treatment shop for tools in Nuremberg

1975

Merger of DEW and ESW to form THYSSEN EDELSTAHL-WERKE AG at the current Nuremberg site

1988

Beginning of PVD coating in Nuremberg and simultaneous founding of H-O-T hardening and surface technology as a division of THYSSEN EDELSTAHLWERKE in Germany and abroad

1992

H-O-T Thyssen Edelstahlwerke is expanded with the foundation of the Service Centre in SCHMÖLLN, Thuringia

1994

Management buy-out of H-O-T from THYSSEN STAHL AG by Dipl.-Ing. Jürgen Bach, Managing Partner, to become H-O-T GmbH & Co. KG

1997

Dipl.-Phys. Frank-Peter Bach also becomes a managing partner

1999

H-O-T is expanded with the foundation of the Service Centre WERL, near Dortmund

2000

H-O-T is expanded with the foundation of the Service Centre ALBERSHAUSEN, near Stuttgart

2001

Acquisition of WOLF HÄRTETECHNIK GMBH and foundation of EB-HÄRTETECHNIK

2005

H-O-T is expanded with the foundation of the H-O-T Tribotechnik GmbH & Co. KG Service Centre BUTTENHEIM, located between Nuremberg and Bamberg

2006

Foundation of H-O-T Plant Engineering on Gundelfinger Straße in Nuremberg
Launch of H-O-T Coating Center in Bursa (Turkey)

Opening of the H-O-T-Center Allgäu in Memmingerberg

Expansion of H-O-T Tribotechnik GmbH & Co. KG in Buttenheim

New building at H-O-T Plant Engineering on Gundelfinger Straße in Nuremberg
